Japan is a free and democratic country, where people have a matured awareness of freedom, equality, human rights and law, and has a history that has undergone rapid modernization and economic development in the 150 years since the Meiji era. At the same time, culture and traditions from ancient times and the beautiful landscape has been preserved, and more recently Japan’s unique culture has been loved by many people around the world.This does not mean that everything in Japan is Walk together with world’s countries as a member of the international communityJICA, in cooperation with universities good, of course. Through these activities, we want to tell you that Japan sincerely welcomes each and every one of you international students, and that we want to actively support you. I think that Japan is limited in land space and we rely heavily on imports from other countries for natural resources and food.Japan can only survive in a stable and developed world. To contribute to the world is an important role Japan should play as a member of the international community.fter graduation, you most likely will take different paths. Some of you may want to contribute to the development of your home country after your return, some may want to work and settle in Japan, or some may want to venture out into the world. In any case, nothing makes me happier than you becoming a “bridge”between your home country and Japan.
